Dreamers. Dreaming (Enero 2015) “Home”

[Music: L. Agudo]

It’s ringing the bell and another time I wander around my den.
Nothing changes. Nevermind. My faith evaporates.

LulIabies won’t calm me down. I cannot take the reins.
The will smolders. The scabs last longer.
Alien Adan, track your way back home.

Home.

Halfway river. Halfway pool. Left over in this sieve.
I tiptoe through the barren minefield as if I was a thief.

And a skull shows gloom through its sockets. In reflections. Gazing at me.
Kind mr. Button lead the way counterclockwise. Target = womb.

Heal in the world inside of her
Heal in the color of her eyes
Hide in the world inside of her
Breed in the world inside of her
Feed from the sound of her laughs
Light in the world inside of her
Light in the world inside of her.
Don’t let me out. It’s so dark.

I feel a presence, a newborn desire to surrender. Deep in me.
And I give in to the swamp of sadness with no more fights to win in here.
and I sink deep in the Nothing. Just a place to get away.
and I die out of this earth. I’m a living dead. I just ask for mercy.

It’s ringing the bell another time and I wonder where I’ve been.
‘Cause if I stay too long here, I don’t know… I may throw all away.
I don’t need no lover in my bed.
I just need to get this out of my head.

I won’t bloom. I’m sick of the sun.

Digs really deep in the ground
the hound that’s tracing my groan.
Arms wide open.

Thirty years. Full circle.
I’ve come finally where I belong.
How come I was doomed to die on the shoreline?

[solo: J. Palacios]

Just listen to the howling wind.
Good things remain in hiding.
If only I could fall asleep
then maybe the burden would be lighter.

What if I just derail again?
What if I lost my fire?
I’ve run out of aces up my sleeve.
The countdown is ticking, now I’m hiding

Here in the world inside of her
Heal in the color of her eyes
Alive in the world inside of her
Brave in the world inside of her
Feed from the sound of her laughs
Light in the world inside of her
Light in the world inside of her.
Don’t let me out. Don’t let me out.

Hopeless in my bed, I can see it coming.
Once I spoiled the pledge, it is fair to come clean.
I wish I’d trusted myself half as much as you did.
Everything I learned slipped right through my hands.

A new day is rising.
