Hear the Void

The River & The Soul (Jan 2012) “Hear the Void”

I hear the void to unseal the unwalled. Do you believe?
I witness beauty to feed the unplumbed. Still on my knees.

Unfolded. I remember. A flame opens the way.

I ride the sin to the slope that I climb. I stand on the breeze.
This is a hard thing to do when you’re blind. The baby’s asleep…

… and stubborn. Will you believe?
‘Cause I ain’t wanna be so alone.

and I’m floating, drawing new things, being taught.
I need someone else to walk this unending roam
I do believe in God

Gotta raise myself to a higher sacred place
to a level where the mountains and the rivers are dreams held up by a divine will

And you will see me there blooming like a flower
standing like a pillar of faith

I’m in silence, drawing new things, being taught
but I need someone else to walk this unending roam
I do believe in Gods shining in ourselves. In everything!

My self has been faded away
Awared of this womb I begin a new awakening
and I welcome all my foes

I’m an orphan spirit coming home

and I’m floating, drawing new things, being taught.
still I need someone else to walk this unending roam
I do believe in God

“A chattel and a plaything of Time’s lords,
Or one more pawn who comes destined to be pushed
One slow move forward on a measureless board
In the chess-play of the earth-soul with Doom,-
Such is the human figure drawn by Time.
A conscious frame was here, a self-born Force.
In this enigma of the dusk of God,
This slow and strange uneasy compromise
Of limiting Nature with a limitless Soul” – Sri Aurobindo’s SAVITRI
